Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam today (July 5, 2022) announced to clean the waste after animal sacrifice in its areas within 12 hours.
“Daily garbage is being cleared everyday and it will not take 12 hours to clean the sacrificial waste,” said the mayor at the 14th board meeting of DNCC at Nagar Bhaban at Gulshan.

He said they have sufficient manpower, and cancelled leave of all the employees and officials are were involved with garbage management.
Atiqul said they have also selected places to sacrifice animals in their areas. He urged everyone to help the city corporation to clean it timely.
Directing councillors and officials of the concerned department to take strict measures, the DNCC mayor said everyone will have to enter into the cattle market maintaining health guidelines.
No one will be allowed to enter a cattle market without a mask, he added.
